Wilts on the hunt for new talent as it launches new Apprenticeship scheme

Wilts, the UK’s largest independent electrical wholesaler, is proud to announce a brand new apprenticeship scheme.

The scheme, which will be run in conjunction with JHP Training and the Electrical Distributors Association (EDA), is aiming to attract people to the industry by offering them the opportunity of up to a 12 month placement where they can gain hands on work experience while they complete their apprentice training and qualification.

Wilts is currently on the lookout for seven apprentices for a variety of roles within the company, which is set to grow rapidly.

Wilts’ HR Director Ruth Ovens said; “Apprentices really make sense to us, it’s about building for the future and developing talent. We will be encouraging all managers at Wilts to support this initiative and look forward to providing a platform for future talent within the electrical sector.”
