And the winner is…..12 children meet Bath Rugby thanks to Wilts

Wilts, the largest independent electrical wholesaler, has arranged a successful competition with its sponsor Bath Rugby to encourage children to play more sport. Wilts ran a competition for all customers throughout its branches to allow 12 children the chance to win an afternoon playing rugby with Bath Rugby’s finest players.

The 12 children aged between 6 and 12 had lunch at the rugby clubhouse and then were taught rugby skills from Ryan Davis, Shontayne Hape and academy player Rhys Crane.

The event also supports the Wilts Wholesale Girls Sportsmatch Programme which has been running for 2 years and is a curriculum based rugby coaching programme run by Wilts and Bath Rugby. The aim is to give girls greater access to rugby. All schools that take part get all materials such as balls and tags, so that they can continue with their training after the formal training from the rugby club.
