Wilts Wholesale Electrical is the largest independent electrical wholesaler in the country with more than 60 branches throughout the South West, South East, South Wales and the Midlands. Established in 1925, the company has earned a long standing reputation for delivering reliable service and for always putting the customer first.
All Wilts branches carry a wide range of stock, including wiring accessories, switchgear, cables, lighting, lamps and tubes, industrial control gear, cable management, heating and ventilation, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and much more.
As well as being associated with the industry’s leading manufacturers, Wilts is proud of the quality of their own brand of competitively priced electrical products, known as the “Wilts Plus” range.
Rapid growth in recent years has enabled Wilts to demonstrate the strengths of the Central Distribution Centre. The CDC, based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, offers all branches an overnight delivery from a choice of over 26,000 product lines. Many of these items would be considered “specials” by the average wholesaler, and may therefore take weeks to supply. Wilts deliver any stock item within 24 hours to any one of the 60 branches or to site at no extra cost.
All Wilts branches are linked by an integrated computer system, allowing staff and customers to access information about stock at the CDC and other branches, as well as pricing and account information.
Wilts operate dedicated departments – offering a wide range of stock and technical expertise – in specialist fields such as Hazardous Area, motor control gear, water heating and spares. Trained lighting engineers are also on hand offering a complete package from design and technical advice right through to supply.
Naturally, Wilts is accredited with ISO 9001:2008 certification, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
Last - but certainly not least – Wilts recognise that the success of the company would not be possible without their greatest asset – their people. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fully trained to be the best in the business. A fact that has been officially recognised by the company’s IIP Investors in People accreditation.
